These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the
Celebrate Women Awards 2025 (CWA)
hosted by
Yeah The Girls 40 Plus
("the Organiser"). By submitting a nomination, entering the awards, or attending the Gala Awards Night, you agree to the following terms:
1. Eligibility
1.1 The Awards are open to individuals who identify as women and are aged 40 years or older at the time of entry.
1.2 Nominees may reside in Australia or internationally.
1.3 All entries must be submitted in English.
1.4 Nominees must consent to participate and complete the full entry process, including written and video submissions.
1.5 By submitting written or video content for the Celebrate Women Awards, entrants acknowledge and agree that their submission will be viewed by the category judge(s), final independent judging panel (collectively accounting for 80% of the total score), and will also be subject to public voting (accounting for the remaining 20% of the total score).
2. Nomination and Entry
2.1 Nominations are free and open to the public.
2.2 The nomination period closes at
11:59 PM AEST on 1 July 2025
2.3 Nominees must then complete their entry and pay the entry fee of
$79 AUD per category
to be eligible.
2.4 Each nominee may enter up to three categories.
2.5 All entry materials (written and video) must be submitted by
11:59 PM AEST on 4 August 2025
2.6 Nominees who pay the entry fee but do not complete their written and video submission by the deadline will be
disqualified
, and no refund will be provided
3. Entry Fee and Refunds
3.1 Entry fees are
non-refundable
, regardless of disqualification, withdrawal, or change in personal circumstances.
3.2 If a finalist pre-orders a Crystal Finalist Award and is later announced as a winner, the full purchase price will be refunded.
4. Judging and Public Voting
4.1 All complete and eligible entries will be reviewed by a panel of independent judges appointed by the Organiser.
4.2 Some categories may include a public voting element, but final decisions rest with the judging panel.
4.3 Judging decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Winner and Finalist Recognition
5.1
Winners
will receive a recognition package valued at approximately
$5,000 AUD

A crystal trophy
Front cover and full feature in the YTG40+ Digital Magazine
Multi-platform social media spotlight
Live-streamed interview into the Yeah The Girls 40 Plus Facebook group (35,000+ members)
A4-size magazine ad placement (3 months)
Business Monday #RSM promotional spotlight (3 months)
One-on-one Business Optimiser Session with a business mentor to help expand their visibility, confidence, or commercial strategy

Top Finalists
will receive a recognition package valued at approximately
$2,000 AUD
, including:
A Certificate of Honour
500-word feature article in the YTG40+ Digital Magazine
A4-size magazine ad placement (1 month)
Social media feature across multiple platforms
Group Business Optimiser Session designed to support growth, marketing, or personal brand elevation
6. Optional Crystal Finalist Award
6.1 Finalists may choose to pre-order a
Crystal Finalist Award
, engraved with their name and category.
6.2 This is an optional commemorative item.
6.3 If the finalist becomes a category winner, the purchase will be fully refunded.
7. Intellectual Property and Content Use
7.1 By submitting written or video entries, entrants grant the Organiser a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence to use the materials for promotional and related purposes.
7.2 Entrants retain ownership of their work and may request anonymity in certain public uses.
7.3 Content may be used across websites, digital platforms, printed media, and press releases.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1 Personal information will be collected and handled in accordance with the
Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
8.2 Data will only be used for the administration and promotion of the Awards and will not be shared externally without consent.
8.3 Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information at any time.
9. Photography and Videography Consent
9.1 By attending the Gala or any related event, participants consent to being photographed and/or filmed.
9.2 The Organiser reserves the right to use event footage and images for future marketing, promotions, and archival purposes.
9.3 Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional materials must notify the Organiser in writing before the event.
10. Gala Awards Night Attendance
10.1 The Celebrate Women Gala Awards Night is a
separate ticketed event, held on
Saturday, 1 November 2025
at The Hills Lodge Hotel, Castle Hill, NSW.
10.2 Tickets are
$298 AUD per person
and include welcome drinks, a formal dinner, entertainment, and the awards ceremony.
10.3 Gala tickets are
non-refundable, including in cases of illness, change of plans, travel disruptions, or finalist/winner outcomes.
10.4 Attendance is encouraged but not required to win an award.
10.5 The Organiser may adjust the event format due to unforeseen circumstances, including health regulations or venue availability, without liability or refund.
11. Conduct and Disqualification
11.1 Entries may be disqualified for plagiarism, incomplete responses, inappropriate content, or violation of these Terms.
11.2 The Organiser reserves the right to remove any participant who engages in misconduct, online harassment, or behaviour that brings the Awards into disrepute.
11.3 Proof of identity and eligibility may be requested at any stage.
12. General
12.1 The Organiser reserves the right to modify or cancel the Awards or these Terms and Conditions at any time.
12.2 In the event of cancellation, no compensation is payable beyond what is legally required under Australian Consumer Law.
12.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of
New South Wales, Australia
, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the NSW courts.
