⨠Rediscover the Woman Youâve Always Been â Sheâs Still in There
Have you ever looked in the mirror and asked, âWhere did I go?â
Not because you donât recognize your reflection, but because somewhere between the job, the family, the responsibilities, and the quiet ache in your chest⌠youâve lost a piece of yourself.
Youâre not alone.
As women over 40, weâre no strangers to change. Our roles evolve, our relationships shift, our bodies speak louder.
Whether itâs empty nest, career pivots, health challenges, divorce, surgery, or just the slow unraveling of who we used to beâmany of us are quietly grieving something we canât quite name.
For me, it was the loss of my womb that unraveled me.
đ My Story: From Loss to Becoming
âYou are not broken. You are becoming.â â Hayley Latham
After my hysterectomy, I was left raw and hollow. Not just physically, but emotionally.
I wasnât prepared for the identity crisis that followed. I had ticked all the boxes, been strong for everyone else, and yet I felt completely invisible.
That experience cracked me openâand it became the beginning of my Becoming.
Today, I help women who feel lost, disconnected, or ânot themselves anymoreâ come home to who they truly are. Not the version they had to be for others. But the woman underneath.
The woman who has always been there, waiting to rise.
đż What I Want You to Know
You are allowed to grieve who you were.
You are allowed to reimagine who you want to become.
And you are allowed to take up space in your own life again.
We donât talk about it enoughâhow the midlife season can feel like emotional whiplash.
Some days youâre empowered. Other days, youâre depleted.
You may find yourself crying on the bathroom floor one night, then holding space for everyone else the next.
But the truth is, this in-between place? It holds magic.
đĽ The Sacred Unraveling Before the Rise
Itâs not the end. Itâs the sacred unraveling before the rise.
When I work with women now, we start by naming the quiet grief, rage, confusion, or numbness theyâve been carrying.
We give it breath.
We give it permission.
And then we begin to remember who they really are.
Because that woman? She never left. She just got buried beneath the noise, the people-pleasing, the expectations, the pain.
đ Coming Home to Yourself
You donât need to go back to who you were.
You get to become who you were always meant to be.
And it doesnât require fixing yourself.
⨠It requires coming home to yourself.
âYou donât need to fix yourself â you need to come home to yourself.â
Start with one simple question:
đ What would love do for me today?
đ¸ A Final Reminder
If youâve been feeling lost, invisible, or disconnectedâplease know this:
⨠You are not broken. You are becoming.
And you donât have to walk that road alone.
