Because nurturing isnât always pretty â but itâs always powerful.
Nurturing is supposed to feel warm and fuzzy, right?
But letâs be honest â sometimes, it feels like youâre pouring from a cup thatâs been empty since 2003.
For mums, especially over 40, nurturing can feel like a constant juggling act.
Kids. Careers. Aging parents. Mental health. Dinner. Repeat.
And somewhere in that chaos, you're meant to âtake care of yourself,â whatever that means when the dog just peed on the laundry and your teenâs having another meltdown.
At From The Heart, we get it.
Nurturing doesnât always look like Pinterest-perfect moments.
Sometimes itâs crying in the car before school pickup.
Sometimes it's saying "no" and not explaining why.
It's surviving on coffee and kindness â and occasionally locking the bathroom door just to breathe.
But nurturing can also be powerful.
Itâs choosing compassion over criticism.
Itâs showing your kids that self-care isnât selfish.
Itâs raising humans while still trying to hold onto your own.
Nurturing, in our world, means keeping it real.
Supporting each other.
Swapping shame for solidarity.
Weâre not here for judgment.
Weâre here for the mums whoâve seen some sh*t and are still standing â messy bun, broken nails, and all.
You are nurturing.
Even when it doesnât look like it.
Even when no one claps for it.
Especially then.
You donât need a cape to be a hero.
Just coffee, boundaries, and maybe a locked door.
