Let’s get real for a moment… food has become more than just something to eat.

For so many of the women I work with (and yep, was once me too), food became the one thing that was always there.

✨ When life felt overwhelming.

✨ When I just needed something to make the moment feel easier.

It wasn’t just about hunger… it was about comfort.
And more than that?
It was about connection.


🌙 The Late-Night Pantry Visits

Late at night, after the kids were asleep, I’d find myself in the pantry with jelly beans or chocolate. Not because I was starving but because I needed a moment of stillness. A sense of something that felt like mine.

Food was familiar.
It didn’t judge.
It didn’t ask questions.
It gave me something to focus on when everything else felt too much.

Try pausing and checking in with yourself first.

🤝 Share with the YTG community.

A five-minute moment of real connection can fill you more than food ever will.


✨ Turn Meals into Rituals, Not Rush Jobs

Let food still be joyful — but not your only joy.

Even when you’re eating alone:
🕯️ Light a candle.
🍽️ Plate your food beautifully.
⏳ Slow down.

Make meals feel nourishing, not numbing.
It completely shifted how I related to food.
