Empowered women heal themselves — and light the way for others.

As women, we often siphon away our energy without even realising it. Over time, this can lead to a loss of self and identity.

Every time we prioritise the emotions, needs, or desires of others over our own, we give away a piece of our energy.
Every time we make ourselves smaller, dim our light, or hold back our emotions and words, we are unconsciously giving permission for someone else to take a piece of our power.

When I speak about power, I don’t mean force, dominance, or control.
I mean honouring yourself, standing in your truth, and embodying a deep sense of worthiness and belonging.

Here are some practical ways to begin reclaiming your power:

✩ Discernment with Your Health and Wellbeing

When it comes to your health, trust your instincts. It’s wonderful to seek support from professionals, but also remember that your inner guidance matters too.

Take advice on board, but then check in with yourself:
Does this feel right for me?
Your body and intuition will always tell you the truth if you take a moment to listen.

✩ Be Discerning with Your Time and Energy

Everything is energy — people, places, conversations, content.
Some things fill your cup, while others drain it.

Pay attention to how you feel before, during, and after an interaction.

  • Do you feel uplifted or depleted after spending time with someone?

  • Does scrolling this app or watching this show nourish you or leave you feeling low?

  • Do you feel safe and content in your environment?

Ask yourself these questions. Then act accordingly.
Small shifts in how you spend your time can make a big difference in how you feel.
You have the power of choice.

It’s time to stop running on empty.

✩ Educate Yourself

I love working one-on-one with clients and holding space for their healing. But what lights me up even more is empowering others to become their own healers.

A big part of my work involves teaching clients simple, yet powerful tools they can use to support and maintain their own energy.

In every healing course that I teach, the first and most important practice I share is self-healing.

Even if a student never works with others, I consider it a success when they regularly use the modality for their own self-love and empowerment.

When you have the tools to support yourself energetically, you’re no longer dependent on anyone else — you become your own healer.
And that, to me, is true power.

✩ Ask for Help

As women, we often feel we need to keep it all together.
We wear many hats and many masks.

One of the most common is:

“I’m fine. I’m strong. I’ve got this.”

But this can be one of the most exhausting roles to play.
Eventually, you risk burnout or breakdown.

Asking for help is not weakness — it’s a sign of strength and self-awareness.

It gives others permission to show up for you, and it reminds your loved ones that you’re human too, which allows for deeper connection, trust, and vulnerability.

✩ The healer you’ve been waiting for is you.

Honour Yourself

Your feelings, needs, and desires matter.
You don’t need to justify them or wait for permission.

Start placing yourself back on the priority list.

When you honour yourself, you model to others how to treat you, and you begin to reclaim pieces of your identity that may have been lost along the way.

You Can’t Give from an Empty Cup

I often share this analogy with my clients:
When your phone’s battery gets low, it starts switching off features to conserve power.

Our energy works the same way. You only have so much to give.
If your energy is depleted, anything you offer others may come at the cost of your own wellbeing.

You have a choice:

  • Recharge your battery through things such as meditation, nourishing food, laughter, movement, or rest.

  • Or simply say no.

When you start to view everything through the lens of energy — whether it adds to or subtracts from your wellbeing — you begin to make clearer, more aligned choices.

When we constantly give our energy away, we can lose sight of who we are.
I see this often, especially in women who have spent years caring for others.
When life finally gives them space to breathe, they realise they’re not sure what brings them joy anymore.

If this feels familiar, I want you to know you’re not alone.
You haven’t lost yourself — you’re just being called to return to you.

The most sacred work you’ll ever do is remembering your worth.

I invite you to pause and reflect:

  • Where might you be unconsciously giving your power away?

  • What small changes could you make today to honour yourself more fully?

If you’re feeling lost or like your battery is running on empty, consider booking in for an energy healing session—either with me or a trusted practitioner (use your discernment).
Recharging your energy field is often the first step in reconnecting with your truth.

And if you feel ready to go deeper, reach out about learning a healing modality.
The power to transform your health and wellbeing already lives within you — you simply need the tools to access it.
