Wellness with Heart Award
1. What inspired you to champion wellness and healing?
Answer:
Since my mid-teens I’ve always felt a deep pull toward healing and wellness, even before I fully understood the magnitude of my journey. From a difficult childhood, to leaving the corporate world in my late twenties for my Spiritual calling, with challenges big and small in between, each experience was a layer of clarity and awareness that became a part of me and my journey. After studying in the US as a Spiritual Counsellor, Energy Healer and Medical Intuitive, and helping myself in the process, I just wanted to help people get unstuck and to live their true calling too. I wasn't perfect and I didn't have all the answers, but I knew I could help on a deep level, because I had experienced this myself.
One of my biggest challenges that tested the level of my deep embodiment came from a pivotal moment: my husband's strokes in 2008. Amid the chaos and uncertainty, I found solace in the deep connection with my Soul. It became clear to me just how important my work was, how it was fundamental in helping me emotionally, mentally and spiritually, to not just scrape through, but to access the strength in me to raise two young children while caring for my husband and his recovery for the following 2 years. My personal experience taught me that to truly heal, we are to return to the original blueprint of the Soul, beyond just symptom management.
I was driven to help others connect with their Higher Purpose and break free from limiting beliefs, so they too could experience alignment, fulfillment and inner knowing. This isn’t about fixing, it’s about remembering and reclaiming the fullness of your life through Soul-level healing and wellness.
2. Tell us about a breakthrough moment in helping others feel whole.
Answer:
One of the most powerful moments in my work was with a woman who had been stuck in self-doubt and a lack of confidence for many years. She had gone through deep loss of her mother as a child and betrayal by her husband and divorce. She came to me feeling unworthy, lost and unsure of her potential, and disconnected from her Soul’s true calling. During our time together, I guided her through a process of identity alchemy, (becoming aware of subconscious and unconscious limiting beliefs and patterns to be able to transmute them), Soul connection to her personal Blueprint and Life mapping her future and pulling it forward, helping her peel back the layers of conditioning and self-imposed limitations. The moment she reclaimed her Soul's truth and began to see her worth and power, she literally transformed week by week through my 12 week program. She stepped into a new version of herself, even through some fear and was empowered, aligned, and confident enough to take bold action in her life and finally open up her own business that she feels good and excited about.
That was a moment that solidified my belief that true wellness is about wholeness, the integration of mind, body and Soul alignment with true inner purpose. Helping someone feel whole isn’t just about healing; it’s about empowering them to reclaim their full potential.
3. What philosophy drives your approach to wellbeing?
Answer:
The philosophy that drives my work is simple: wellbeing starts at the Soul level. Most wellness approaches focus solely on external practices; diet, exercise, sleep. Nothing wrong with that, but the deeper truth is that true wellness stems from inner alignment and Soul connection. We are more than the sum of our parts. When your inner world is in harmony with your higher self, everything else falls into place.
My approach to wellness is about holistic transformation. It’s not just about fixing what’s wrong, but about guiding women to reclaim their innate nature and empowered state. To trust themselves deeply, and step into their highest potential. This requires deep inner work that also means leaving the comfort zone, regulating the nervous system and shifting from limiting beliefs and an identity created from fear and survival to living from Soul-led action. Once we become aware of and engage with the Soul's blueprint, everything else, from mental clarity to physical vitality and Spiritual knowing, becomes a natural byproduct of this alignment.
4. How have you overcome obstacles in your wellness journey?
Answer:
Overcoming obstacles in my own wellness journey has been a process of deepening trust in myself and the Soul/Spiritual relationship with God's/Creator's/Source's universe. Some of the biggest challenges I’ve faced were navigating the trauma of my childhood, health issues, betrayal and my husband's strokes. It forced me to confront my own fears and limiting beliefs, particularly the fear of loss and the question of what true strength and embodiment of my core practices really meant. It was in these moments of extreme vulnerability that I learned that holistic wellness isn't about avoiding hardship (though I wished it was at the time), but about learning to move through the challenges with as much grace as possible, including forgiving myself when I stumbled.
I had to recalibrate my own nervous system, reconnect with my Soul’s truth, and reframe my mindset. The more I learned about Spiritual embodiment, the more I realized that obstacles are a cross-roads of opportunities for deeper awareness and growth. Today, I’m able to guide others through their own obstacles because I’ve walked through a few myself with a deep sense of Soul-level clairty.
5. What does true wellbeing mean to you?
Answer:
True wellbeing means living in full alignment with your Soul’s truth. It’s about being at peace with who you are, trusting your inner guidance and embodying your purpose in every area of your life as much as possible and as often as possible, It's not about being perfect, I tried that too and it doesn't exist, (only creating another way to feel disappointed with yourself). It’s not just about having good health or a good standard of life, it’s about feeling whole, empowered and connected with your higher self which leads to being comfortable in your skin.
When you're in alignment with your Soul, your nervous system is regulated as a consequence, your mind is clear, and your energy flows freely. It’s a state of deep trust, where you no longer feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or lost, (at least, rarely). True wellbeing is about living authentically, owning your true nature and purpose, and stepping into the life you were always meant to live. No compromises, no settling. Just ‘being’ who you truly are and feeling good about it.
